Director of Nursing – Manangatang Campus

An exciting opportunity exists for an exceptional Director of Nursing to join our management team. In this role you will showcase your leadership skills and strategic expertise overseeing the operational and clinical aspects of our 12 bed facility comprising of Aged Care residents. In this leadership role you will report to the Executive Director of Nursing and you will have a care team working under you. As the Director of Nursing you will provide management to the facility, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, legislation and accreditation standards. You will oversee clinical operations, promote evidence based practice, monitor resident health and mentor a skilled team.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous management experience
  • Understanding of scope of practice in line with relevant registration
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Demonstrate excellent patient centred care
  • The ability to produce high quality documentation
  • Clear police and Working with Children’s check
  • Mandatory Covid-19 vaccination
