People & Culture Officer

Monday to Friday | 8:30am – 5:00pm

Robinvale District Health Services is seeking an enthusiastic and professional People & Culture Officer to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for an organised and motivated individual to contribute to the delivery of high-quality human resources and administrative support services within a dynamic healthcare environment.

About the Role
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, the People & Culture Officer will provide administrative and operational support across a broad range of human resources functions, including recruitment, payroll, onboarding, employee records management, workforce compliance, staff engagement initiatives, and general HR administration.

This role plays a key part in supporting our workforce and ensuring the smooth delivery of People & Culture services across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support across all People & Culture functions.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding and employee induction processes.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
  • Support workforce compliance activities, including credentialing and mandatory training requirements.
  • Assist with preparing employment contracts, correspondence and reports.
  • Respond to employee enquiries and provide professional customer service.
  • Support payroll-related administration and liaison with relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the People & Culture department.

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum 2 years' administrative experience.
  • Certificate III in Business Administration (or equivalent qualification).
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Criteria

  • Qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Previous experience in Human Resources administration.
  • Previous payroll experience.
