An exciting opportunity exists for a Director of Primary and Community Services. Who is empathetic, enthusiastic and compassionate, to join our professional clinical team. The ideal candidate would be a registered nurse or qualified allied health professional with some leadership or management experience.

Robinvale District Health Service (RDHS) is a vibrant and dynamic rural health organisation providing health care services across the Victorian Mallee and parts of New South Wales. We operate under the Multi-Purpose Service (MPS) Model providing flexible and coordinated services which suit the needs of our communities. In addition to our role providing aged care and sub-acute services in Robinvale and Manangatang we also provide allied health services based on the primary care model of health ensuring we meet our communities health needs across the lifespan, address the broader determinants of health and empower individuals, families and communities to take charge of their own health.

Are you a nurse with an interest or experience in Primary Health and Leadership?  What about an Allied Health Professional who would like to take on a leadership role?

An exciting opportunity exists for a Director of Primary and Community Services. Who is empathetic, enthusiastic and compassionate, to join our professional clinical team. The ideal candidate would be a registered nurse or qualified allied health professional with some leadership or management experience. You would be responsible for managing a fantastic team of allied health professionals and community nurses. This team provides services to Robinvale and surrounds but also outreach into a large portion of the Mallee, and into the lower western parts of NSW.

In addition to the day to day supervision of the team, you will be responsible for managing a number of external contracts for the provision of allied health and community services.

While there are a lot of meetings to attend on top of your management duties, there is opportunity to maintain your clinical skills if you want to. You report to the CEO and form part of the executive, so the role provides the opportunity to be involved in the strategic planning of the health service.

    • Conduct duties as directed.
    • Participate in RDHS training programmes and provide feedback as required.
