Robinvale District Health Services has been a vital part of the community since 1957. In that time, the service has implemented an extensive range of services and kept up to date with technological advances.
Our aim is to provide constant promotion and education to overcome poor health behaviours and better understand our health needs. We do this by playing an active role in the community through education. We believe in a community approach to health care and work closely with other health agencies, schools and government to provide better services and value for money.
We provide annual development scholarships to Robinvale Secondary College, the Consolidated School and St Mary’s Primary School for maths and science achievements. These scholarships encourage our children to consider a health career, particularly within a rural community.
We are currently working with Swan Hill Rural City Council and Department of Rural and Urban Land to secure a new staff housing development and increase the opportunities for professional staff.
Our service is constantly evolving and expanding to meet the community’s health needs while attracting expert health professionals and creating local employment opportunities.
