Aged Care is a large part of Robinvale District health Service’s core business with a total of 24 high care beds (10 in Manangatang Nursing Home and 14 in the Robinvale Nursing Home) and 30 low care beds at the Riverside Hostel. The staff take great pride in delivering best practice to the elders in our care and demonstrate a passionate approach to caring for the residents in a friendly environment.
People living in residential accommodation at Robinvale District Health Services are encouraged to be active in recreation and lifestyle pursuits including their individual interests, social life and participation in the wider community. There is an individual recreation program for each residential area that aims to meet the needs of individuals and groups. The program is responsive to resident input and encourages families, friends and community members to participate. Activities include outings, exercises, music and performance, games, celebrating special events, shopping, social activities, community activities, art and craft and cooking/food events.
Who is eligible?
Persons who have been assessed by the Aged Care Assessment Service (ACAS) as eligible for Residential Care (Permanent) and are approved as requiring either High or Low classification Residential Care, considering medical, physical, psychological and social circumstances.

The following documents are to be provided to RDHS before an applicant can be placed on the Waiting List:
